The Royal Botanic Garden created the Directorate of Programs and Projects to manage and sustain a group of pioneering programs and projects and recurring activities, in coordination with the various directorates of the Garden for the purposes of implementing its objectives and in line with its strategic plan

  • Establishing programs and projects that support the activities and functions of other directorates.
  • Developing and activating partnerships and cooperation between the garden and both official and unofficial institutions through agreements and memorandums of understanding.
  • Enhancing cooperation between the garden and international institutions and botanical gardens, and building strategic partnerships to support the garden's objectives and tasks at both national and international levels.
  • Working to achieve institutional accreditation for the garden from various international organizations specialized in botanical garden activities.
  • Following up and coordinating with different directorates of the garden and utilizing knowledge and information outputs from projects funded by other institutions to serve the garden's programs and projects.
  • Attracting innovative project ideas, developing them, and providing the necessary funding for their implementation through collaboration with international and national institutions.
