A comprehensive plan was designed for the site in Tal Al-Rumman with an estimated area of 1,800 dunums. Different sites within the Garden were classified for rehabilitation in 3 habitats: Aleppo Pine habitat, Deciduous Oak habitat, and Freshwater habitat, in addition to the representation of two habitats, namely the Phoenician Juniper habitat and the Jordan Valley habitat.
The Royal Botanic Garden protects more than 600 plant species within three main habitats: The Deciduous Oak Habitat, the Aleppo Pine Habitat, in addition to the Aquatic Habitat.
